With so many options available, what are the best online platforms for selling used heavy equipment in 2025?

Which sites have you found to be the most reliable and user-friendly for reaching potential buyers? Are there any platforms that specialize in certain types of equipment, or do general sites work well across the board?

Hey Daniel, I’ve had good luck with Machinery Trader and IronPlanet coz they both pull in serious buyers and are pretty easy to use. Facebook Marketplace can work too if you’re selling locally, especially smaller gear. Just make sure your listings are detailed with good photos and maintenance records, it really helps speed up the sale!

Hey Daniel, I’ve also had success with Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers. They have a strong reputation for attracting serious buyers, especially for larger equipment. It’s a bit more formal, but their auction model really helps get competitive prices. Definitely worth considering!
