bucket truck for sale

First, what you'll be using the truck for (Tree Trimming, Power Line Work, Construction)
This will help you determine the features you need.

Yeah, a little more detail here would be helpful. Primary use, average trip, tight spots or open areas, lifting capacity needed, storage needed, towing capability?

@JavierB&B makes an excellent point about starting with your intended use, and @winston_wisdom adds some great considerations. If you're purchasing through Boom and Bucket, check out their inventory for trucks with features tailored to your needs, like extended reach for tree trimming or additional storage for construction. Be sure to evaluate the truck's service history and inspect the hydraulics, as repairs on those can be costly. What budget range are you working with, and do you have a preference for new or used models?

Great advice so far! I'd suggest test-driving a few options and checking reviews for reliability on the models you're considering.

agree with checking service history and hydraulics because those repairs are really not cheap. what do you consider most when buying trucks? budget, features, or getting a new vs. used model?

Personally, I would go with the used model that is well-maintained and has a good feature. I tend to focus on getting a balance of budget and features when buying trucks.

Good call, @Ynzo! A well-maintained used truck can definitely be the best bang for your buck. I’d say reliability is key, no point saving money upfront if you're constantly dealing with downtime and repairs. @johnnyrogers, have you come across any models that caught your eye yet?

Some solid advice here! Reliability definitely seems like the key factor, especially if downtime would cost you more in the long run. @johnnyrogers, are you leaning toward any specific brands or features so far? Curious if anyone here has a go-to model for durability and ease of maintenance!

Lots of great advice here! I’d definitely prioritize reliability and service history, nothing worse than unexpected downtime. @johnnyrogers, have you narrowed down your search yet, or still exploring options?

Hey @johnnyrogers, great to see you're in the market for a bucket truck! Definitely agree with the others about focusing on your specific needs first about reach, lifting capacity, and storage. Used trucks can be a solid option if they've been well-maintained, but make sure to check the hydraulics and service history. Any trucks you've been looking at so far? Would love to hear what you've narrowed down!

Hey @johnnyrogers, I’m in the same boat right now, looking around and trying to figure out what’s worth the price. I’ve been focusing on low-hour used trucks with solid maintenance records. Have you seen anything good in your area yet?
