Agreed—$275 is a pretty fair price if it’s in good shape. The MS290 is a solid workhorse and should handle 8-10 cords of hardwood just fine. Like Albert78 said, check the bar, chain, and compression before pulling the trigger. If it fires up easy and isn’t too beat up, I’d say it’s worth it. Worst case, you might need a little maintenance, but even then, it’s still a decent deal. Did the seller mention anything about maintenance history?
