Hi,

What are solid rubber tires on forklifts, and how do they compare to pneumatic ones? Are they better for certain surfaces or just for indoor use?

Do they affect traction or load capacity in any way? How long do they typically last compared to air-filled tires? Just trying to figure out the best option for different work environments! Looking forward to hearing about your experience. Thanks

Solid rubber tires on forklifts are non-pneumatic, meaning they don’t have air in them, and are made of solid rubber material. They’re great for indoor use, especially on smooth, hard surfaces like concrete. They tend to last longer than air-filled tires because they’re more durable and don’t suffer from punctures or pressure loss. As for traction, they don’t offer as much grip as pneumatic tires on rough or uneven surfaces, but they’re still quite stable and low-maintenance. The trade-off is that they can be a bit less forgiving on rough terrain, but they’re a solid choice for flat indoor environments.
