With new technology and evolving job site demands, I’m curious which technical or soft skills are most in demand right now. Are employers placing more value on certifications, equipment experience, or digital tools like BIM? Would love to hear what’s helped others stand out in today’s market!

Great question! I’d say a mix of technical skills like equipment operation and certifications (OSHA, NCCER) is definitely in demand, but soft skills like communication and teamwork are also key. Plus, with more tech being used on sites, familiarity with tools like BIM and project management software can really set you apart!

I’d say it’s all about the balance between hands-on skills and adaptability. Yes, certifications like OSHA are important, but having experience with new technologies, like BIM or drone surveying, definitely stands out. And strong communication and problem-solving skills are always a big plus on the job site!
