What's a Fair Price for a STIHL MS 290?

Hey everyone, I’ve got a STIHL MS 290 in great shape. I’m thinking about selling it with a 20" bar but I’m not sure what a fair asking price would be.
What do you think it’s actually worth in today’s market? Does anyone here have sold one recently?
 
Hi, the MS 290 is a solid saw, and in great shape with a 20" bar, it usually goes for $250-$400 depending on condition and demand. I'd check Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or eBay to see what others are selling for in your area. Hope that helps!

Hey @John Davis! If it's still in great condition, you're definitely looking at a solid price. I’ve sold a couple of these before, and it’s always worth checking local listings to compare prices. If it's running well and looks clean, you should be able to get around $300 or so, maybe more depending on where you're located.
