Hi,

Will construction costs go down in 2025, or are prices expected to stay high? With material shortages, inflation, and labor challenges still in play, I’m curious what factors might affect construction costs this year. Has anyone seen signs of relief in pricing, or is it more of the same heading into 2025?

Hey Joemar, from what I’ve seen so far in 2025, there’s a bit of mixed news: some material prices like lumber and steel have started to stabilize, but labor costs are still high due to ongoing shortages.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Some materials are easing up, but labor and fuel costs are still keeping overall expenses high. Curious if anyone's found ways to cut costs without cutting corners? Maybe alternative materials or new supplier deals?

Yeah, I’ve been seeing some relief on material costs too, especially lumber and rebar, but labor’s still tight and keeping bids high. One thing that’s helped us is pre-ordering bulk materials early in the season and locking in pricing where we can. Has anyone tried using prefab components or more efficient equipment to shave down build time and costs? Curious what’s actually working out there right now.

Construction costs in 2025 are starting to stabilize, with material prices like lumber and steel easing. However, high labor and fuel costs are still keeping overall expenses up.

Totally agree, Cody! Pre-ordering materials and locking in prices has helped us too. Another thing we’ve done is invest in more efficient machinery, which speeds up the process and reduces labor costs in the long run. Has anyone found any good tech solutions, like project management tools, that help keep costs in check?
