who should inspect a crane?

Daily operator checks are non-negotiable, but having a certified inspector take a deeper look definitely helps catch hidden issues before they become major problems.

@Marlouie Rosato, good question about scheduling third-party inspections. At our site, we do them proactively every six months, and they’ve caught a few things we might have missed. Has anyone here switched up their inspection schedule and noticed a difference in safety or maintenance costs?
 
Totally agree with the mix of daily checks and certified inspections, it saved us big time once when a third-party caught a cracked weld we would’ve never spotted. Anyone here doing drone inspections for cranes yet?
