About this equipment
Coming from the AEMP 2024 Fleet Masters Large Fleets Award Winner, this Caterpillar 966F II wheel loader had Cat Certified Rebuild and Repower completed in 2005 with a newly issued serial number (original build year 1992). With 8,311 hours of operation, it features a 10 foot general purpose bucket, auxiliary hydraulics, quick coupler, an enclosed cab with A/C and heat. Powered by a 260 horsepower Cat C9 diesel engine, it has an operating weight of 45,714 lbs. The engine and transmission are in good condition, with rear tires at 50% tread. The inspection also reported some dried seepages throughout the engine compartment, some leaking hydraulic seals, and areas cosmetic wear.
The hour meter on this machine is recently replaced, but had not been calibrated at the time of inspection, so its function was not verified. The current hours were verified by the fleet management system.
